Issue Position

According to the National Math and Science initiative "U.S. students recently finished 25th in math and 17th in science in the ranking of 31 countries by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development", also, we are 20th and 16th in high school and college graduation rates. These ratings are not acceptable, we must encourage our kids to focus more on science and math; we must incentivize college students to get degrees in math, engineering and science, that is how we can compete with other nations.

I also believe frequent increase in tuition rates should be addressed; young people should not be burdened with so much debt after college.
